Dennis leads a mostly indoor life, so exposure to statues is very limited. A statue is, according to Webster, a life-size or bigger than life-size figure of someone or something.
Dennis owns one item that might be called a mini partial statue. Dennis owns a bust of The Wolfman. The bust is always in the werewolf stage, it never turns back into a human form. Dennis says his statue is based on Lon Chaney Jr. who starred with Claude Rains in the 1941 movie The Wolfman. Dennis likes what the gypsy woman says.
Dennis learned recently that there are lots of wolfmans besides Lon Chaney, Jr.
"We are put on this earth to have a good time. This makes other people feel good. And the cycle continues."
-- Wolfman Jack (American disc jockey and entertainer.)

What does a partial statue of Wolfman mean? Why did Cat King Cole leave a dead mouse on my income taxes? Cats make the tedious curious. One day when I was very angry, I read about you and Eddy fighting and then I was mirthful. When I thank cats, it's with a sincere smile. Thanks, Dennis.
"A mini partial statue" - Oh Dennis, I like you soooo much...
ah... the gypsy woman. Bless her soul.
They say in real life, Chaney was a really sweet guy - had to be to put up with all the guck on his face, more of which follows for your enjoyment, Dennis. Just lie back in your digs and have a human click this Chaney tribute on for you and your partial statue:

Ahhh yes, the wolf man.....and wm jack could be heard only late at night on an old am radio in northern ca back in the day.
Nice statue, somehow fitting ; )
Wolfman Jack was in a movie (American Graffiti). when I first saw the little statuette, I thought of him, not the Wolfman.
wolfman jack is the first I thought of too. And why do they call it a bust? I didn't see a single breast...
isn't dennis a little afraid????
Is Dennis excited about the new Wolfman movie starring Benicio DelToro? (I know I am!)
Dennis looks very proud of his little statue! He's keeping a sleepy eye on it and looks like he might take a swipe at anyone who would dare to criticise it!
what does dennis think of american werewolf in london- or werewolves of london for that matter? i see now where the living small (but not too small) part somes in.....and it's good!
Well Dennis, you certainly help my life happy !
Why does Dennis have a statue of the Wolfman, mini partial or otherwise, beside his bed? I would think he might appreciate a statue of Catwoman a lot more.
Dennis and Eddy,
Jacob says his statue of Catwoman was to claw for! Too bad one of the Divas in the house rammed it under a door and split it in half!
Have fun with the Wolfman!
"Even a man who is pure in heart and says his prayers by night, may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms and the autumn moon is bright..."
i was gonna say what daisy said.
i know it off by heart for some reason
its a very cool statuette
Me, I wouldn't mind a mini partial of Wolfman Jack. But I like yours too, Dennis.
G'day from another newbie. Dennis has dubious taste in art but quite clearly a good sense of humour! Cheers :)
I just saw 'Wolfman' and thought of one of the characters in Top Gun.
I just lowered the tone, didn't I? ;-)
I always thought that Michael Landon was the wolfman?
Hi Dennis. Purr-fect! But as much fun as a ball of yarn?
that statue has poor bite-ability.
It is good that the Wolfman is little because if it was bigger I would be scairt of it.
there are very old writings about werewolves. in the 15th century a council of theologians decided that the werewolf existed. Ovid (14 BC ) writes about a wolf man ( King Lycaon) --the Metamorphosis . a form of madness that turns a man into a wolf like man.
Love it! I used to have a model of the same guy, so I'm sure you're right about it being the Lon Chaney version.
And thanks for the gypsy woman clip.
I went at an exhibition about Arcimboldo and saw pictures of a familly : the father was a wolfman, the mother normal and (if I remember well) the children were all wolf children
He Looks Pretty 'Armless.......
I wonder if there are werecats.
I just read the other day that 10 new species were discovered.
Who knows. Maybe there are half human half cats wandering around out there in those teeny tiny pockets of the world that have yet to be discovered, explored and ruined by human beings.
When Elmo was a kitten, a half-starved, nearly hairless, so thin that only a single flea was trying to feed off him, dragging his tail on the ground because he was that malnourished and weak kitten, I had a dream that was probably related to the fact that for the first 2 weeks of his life, I was getting up in the middle of the night to feed him and check and see if he was still alive. In the dream, I had a little boy named Elmo. Only he wasn't a little boy. He was a cat boy. A kitten boy, really. He was a human being, only he was also a tuxedo kitten. His body and face were human, but he was covered in black and white fur, and he had pointy ears and a tail, and paws. He was a very very good kitten boy.
That's what Elmo was. And I guess, is. The child I never had.
I don't treat him like a child or think of him as a baby or child. I've never related to animals in that manner. Human beings are human beings and animals are animals. I understand the difference. Still, somewhere deep within myself, my brain/heart/soul, thought otherwise.
Thus, the dream.
I think I'd like to be a werecat.
Prowl all night. Sleep all day.
Dennis looks much too suave to howl at full moons.
