Dennis has a recurring dream in which a large fish is falling from the sky. Dennis tries to catch it but the fish always just evaporates the way things do in dreams.

wild salmon is the only kind worth anyone's attention.
freshly caught trout is nice too
(but Rollmops says he prefers herring and says good luck with the dream. Suggests you add water falling out of the sky along with the fish, the next time the dream shows up - that's if you can stand having water land on your fur along with the fish)
Dennis says the Grand Rebbe used to give Dennis herring, may he rest in peace. (and also Rollmops)

Favourite fish? Rainbow Trout. You just let it cook in the pan, no oil, a smidgen of pepper, a dash of lemon. Simmer, uncovered on med-low heat for pehaps twenty minutes. It'll fall right off the bone. Melt in your mouth. Haddock is a good runner-up.
The very same as Dennis that I've tried only once cause that costs an arm in France..

My favorite kind of fish is goldfish. I never tasted one though.
Dennis, keep dreaming that salmon dream, it's a keeper. Maybe one time it won't fade way; could happen.
p.s. Everybody here loves salmon, too - wild, tame, from coast to coast. And Sweeney ate the tail of a goldfish cracker once.
Salmon is my favorite, too. Although, I have not tried very many kinds of fish. My father makes a wicked good hollandaise.

No dreams of, but my fave is Southern fried Catfish. Uh oh! I didn't realize how that reads 'til I read it. Sorry, Dennis! It's just their name. They're not near as handsome as you, and they don't even blog. Nothin' like a real cat. (But, man, they sure taste good!;-)

Bob doesn't do fish. He'd probably love to have a goldfish though. He loves to play in water.
My favorite fish was a goldfish I won as a prize at Canobie Lake Park when I was a kid. It was one of those simple carnival games in which I picked up rubber duck and won a prize. I named her/him, originally, Goldy. Godly was my very first pet. She lived for 4 years which is a long time for a fish.
After Goldy, I moved onto hamsters.

I like raw salmon and herring to eat and I love how all fish look. I once went fishing for piranhas. They don't look very nice.
