Dennis is thinking of nothing much -- and then ...

Dennis hears the refrigerator door open.

Dennis says "You'll never know."

Dennis took over the cupboard above the refrigerator eight years ago. Dennis even has a pillow in the cupboard. Dennis sometimes stays up there all day. Dennis does not allow other cats to come near any of his hangouts. 

Dennis has scared a few guests by suddenly flinging the cupboard door open and then leaping from the top of the refrigerator to the floor. 

Once the guests were at the kitchen table playing poker, and Dennis made some cards fly.

Dennis & the New Locale

Dennis discovers that someone finally left her closet door open. This is better than the coat closet because there are interesting shelves with sweaters and blue jeans stacked, and clothes hanging down, so Dennis can snuggle into a stack of soft fabrics. Dennis knocks a lot of things off of hangers and messes up the neat stacks with his sharp claws while finding just the right spot to nap and shed fur.

Dennis Will Be Devilishly Busy

Dennis will be busy with his Valentines for the next 24 to 36 hours.

Dennis wishes you all a Happy Vals Day and will visit you after he romances a few of his lady friends.

Dennis Looks Sweet

Dennis has been doing the sweet routine with the humans. Dennis sits on their laps and falls asleep, clinging so they feel they cannot move. Dennis sleeps with them and slowly pushes them to the outer edges of the bed. Dennis becomes a 22 pound boulder blocking them when they try to move back towards center. Dennis does not move if prodded or pushed. Dennis pushes back.

Dennis thinks sleeping in the huge basket behind the chair is just 'so-so', but yesterday someone threw a big quilt over the chair, and Dennis's basket became much cozier. Dennis could also keep an eye on the kitchen activity, which was a definite plus. 

Dennis saw that the quilt was gone today, so Dennis went back to the closet. Dennis has standards for 

'coziness'

Dennis Knows FIVE things (about Dennis)

1. Dennis is a dynamic motivator.

2. Dennis feels his needs should be attended to super promptly. 

3. Dennis knows he has Hollywood written all over him but Dennis feels he needs privacy, so Dennis has not acted on this as yet.

4. Dennis has famous friends ( Olsen Twins, Morgan Freeman, Joey Fatone --  as well as Nicolas Sarkozy & Carla Bruni -- Dennis was the one of the few invited to the Sarkozy wedding ceremony. (Dennis was too busy to attend, but sent a thoughtful gift --a framed portrait of Dennis that Nicolas had often admired)

*****5. Dennis would like Clarice to create a virtual meal for Dennis. Dennis wonders if there is some sort of  recipe for seafood vol au vent, and some roast chicken Brittany style?
