This movement has GOT to find a voice here. It really does.
Frank has co-opted Bear's bed. But Bear has co-opted D's jacket.
how did you know what I was doing today!! attempting some decluttering here on avenue c....
the cats are taking turns sleeping in the suitcase....hence I'm afraid it will never get completely unpacked and put away!
Dennis is on his Throne!
Everybody here thinks you looks great in that "spiffy" raspberry-colored bed, Dennis. That was the word Elliott used - spiffy. I didn't think he knew what it meant (and now he's giving me the vertical-pupil glare for telling you that!)
Well, if de-clattering means more nap spaces, I guess its worth the hassle that generally accompanies it.
Dennis, you look regal sitting on your fancy throne!
You are not going to believe what happened to me. My Mommie keeps buying me more beds, hoping that I will use them. I refuse to use any beds, except occasionally my new spaceship bed. So finally, she GAVE ONE OF MY BEDS AWAY! To the shelter! I say that's taking this simplifying thing too far. I might have decided to use that bed after all.
Oh Dear. I do believe I've stumbled on another fav Blog. Signed, Klever Kitty or AKA Witty Kitty amongst other names.
Dennis,
Jacob says he has bed-envy and would love to try out your raspberry bed and heater. Happy napping.
As for the human movement to de-clutter and use less stuff, Jacob's friend, E, is a minimalist.
I've always liked Jethro's "Locomotive Breath" : a fine song to air out the bass speakers and mix up the dust.
Welcome back.
I should probably declutter as well.
You photograph so well, Dennis.
Did you get to hear dylans theme time radio hour this week about:
Cats??????
Nice to see you looking in the pink, Dennis.
(What is this 'decluttering' of which you speak? It sounds scary)
My goodness, what a cozy bed.
Elmo could use a bed like that. Elmo's a sucker for a cozy bed. He has beds (pillows, blankets, special places that he has claimed as his own), all over the place.
Might you divulge the details--where was this particular cat bed purchased? Elmo would be eternally thankful.
Bob's a heathen. He'll sleep anywhere. On the closet floor is his favorite bed but he's happiest sleeping anywhere near his grampa, so wherever Elmo sleeps, Bob is sure to be nearby.
Bob likes to be within paw's reach of Elmo.
(He's such a dear, dear animal, that Bob.)
The bed was a cheapo $8. purchase from Costco type of warehouse store called BJs BUT it was made in America, so Dennis got 3 -- washable too. Dennis finds it's hard to keep other cats out of the other two while napping in one--constant patrolling is necessary.
We hopes there are no plans to declutter the kitties!
aww I get it!
dennis is a scaredy.. cat! haha!
thanks for the visit!
There is similar movements here but no new nap spots have come out of it. Crap.
purrs Shade
Seems to be a nice and warm napping place ! Arthur has other worries, he is getting fat !
Those are terrific sleeping places Dennis!
big deal / so what!
looks like a creamy comfy cake
mmmmmmmmmmm
We think you look fabulous in your new bed, Dennis. We also have a red bed. But we only use it to store our mousies and fevver toys and balls. We nap on Mom's bed! ha!
That wooks wike just the pwace to nap! And cweaning out sounds fun because the beans will need wots of snoopervising.
Boy
Now you just need some heartshaped pillows Dennis - and you'll be ready for romance!
I really want to give things to Salvation army or something but somehow the bags of clothes stand there for 6 months.
Comfy and Cosy and Cuddly and Contented.
The Spice Cats would sleep anyway, except for their cat bed.
You can't have too many napping places. But noisy de-cluttering can be very annoying. We're glad to learn that something good can come out of it.
