Dennis doesn't really see the light, just those little plastic whatzits dangling there. Dennis is thinking: chewy? or too brittle? The past few days have seen Dennis getting along with others much better ~ except for one violent attack when Chedwick was drinking water and Dennis (who seemed to be asleep yards away) flew into a rage and chased him from the water bowl. At least that was the only attack witnessed by humans, who can tell what goes on during the hours that they are away? They come home to find chairs overturned on the floor, with large clumps of fur nearby. Who really wants to know what happened?
Overall there have been fewer ugly incidents, so Dennis may be sensing the light.

best to ignore the overtuned chairs and detached fur, I say. We all know Dennis is a well behaved and delightful cat, n'est-ce pas, Dennis? (oops was that the water bowl again?)

Bob can be walking past Elmo while Elmo's sleeping and Elmo will reach out and slap Bob, or try to grab him.
Out of sound sleep.
It never seems to faze Bob though.

Whether he is seeing it or just sensing it, the important part is that Dennis is moving TOWARD the light, yes?
I think that deep beneath his gruff exterior lies the heart of a misunderstood pussycat.
Why do you hate chedwick? I think everyone should give you a fair chance and hear you out.
Dennis loves Chedwick but if Ched doesn't follow the rules and strict guidelines set forth by Dennis, then he must suffer the consequences. Ched isn't too bright, really.

Dennis agrees with Merle. Dennis never does the bitey unless it's accidental nibbly type of bitey. accidents happen.

I'm glad to hear Dennis doesn't bite--as adog lover I have very little sympathy for cats. Why are you guys so fussy and picky?
