Dennis Tells A Funny Story

Dennis is too big for his bed, but Dennis likes being big.

Dennis has a good story: a few days ago, little Eddy seemed to be lost. the humans couldn't find him anywhere, although occasionally they could hear his faint muffled cries. They searched every nook and cupboard in the house. They worried and looked for fifteen minutes or so and then started looking more frantically. Dennis was relaxing in the cat carrier. More time passed, and more frantic searching ensued. Chedwick walked over to the carrier and peered into one of the tiny windows in the back just as a human walked by. This made the human look at the carrier more carefully, and realize with shock, that Dennis was sitting on Eddy. He was trapped in the back of the carrier underneath Dennis. Oh he was bitey and scratchy when Dennis first sat on him, but after awhile he gave up struggling. When the humans pulled us out of the carrier, Eddy was limp from exertion. Serves him right for falling asleep in a carrier that belongs to Dennis. Don't worry about Dennis, aside from a few minor scratches and bites on his bottom, Dennis is just fine!

Big Bum Dennis!

Dennis! You could have smothered little Eddy! I do not think you realize your own size. You must be very gentle with the little ones, okay? With great size comes great responsibility.

Dennis just thought Eddy needed a warm place to nap.

Interesting how some cats enjoy sleeping with their paws pressed against something . . .

This incident did not stop Eddy from jumping on Dennis whenever he strolls into the room.

Oh my! I was thinking "way to go" but I don't think that would be nice. Eddy is a kitten after all.

It was very kind, I'm sure, of Dennis to provide little Eddy with some extra warmth. So very considerate.

We had a large boy on campus once who kept sitting on people. We had to ask him to leave.

This reminds me of Max and Buddah, when Buddah was a kitten. You are a bit naughty, Dennis. I am glad that Edward is OK.

Hahahaha.....Dennis, you shouldnt be sitting on anyone at all...or any cat.

Dennis dude, don't be sitting on the littlest members of the family. You should only sit on the beans, not Eddy.

Dennnis you are a bit mischevous. Fortunate for you that Eddy wasn't all squished up. Serve you right to get your rear end bitted !

Dennis, I'm going to take Eddy's side on this one.

As long as you are OK Dennis! Sometimes I wish I could do that to Ruckus.

It's good to be a cat.

Dennis wants to remind you all that Eddy cries very easily -and he was probably crying to get out of the cat carrier. Eddy is too feisty and wiry to smother. Eddy is always picking on Dennis but that may change once Eddy gets neutered.

Dennis loves Eddy and grooms him a lot.

Good news, Dennis. Academy Award® winners Robert De Niro and Al Pacino are starring as a pair of veteran New York City police detectives on the trail of a vigilante serial killer in the new psychological thriller Righteous Kill (2008).

Dennis, you and Elmo would be grouchy good pals, I think.

Forgive me for thinking ill of you.

Just like Elmo, you have a secret little Grinch heart that is actually very big.

It took Bob about a year to really calm down, so be patient with Eddy. You only get to be a hyperactive kitten once in your life. It's over too soon, I think.

Dennis: Eddy will have a dense bone structure. No risk of osteoporosis in his older years. And who will he have to thank for it?
You, Dennis.
Do you think the ungrateful little wretch will remember? Fat chance, buddy.

Here, have a herring.

Obviously Dennis was incubating tiny little Eddie and just trying to help him hatch into a useful cat. :)

Worry about Dennis???? Somehow I think Dennis is quite capable of looking after himself.

Hi guys, haven't been around much. Just drop by to say mieow and check things out.

dennis said...

Dennis was just grooming Eddy and trying to keep him from getting away. Dennis is sticking to this version now.

LOL @ Dennis. We tried to pretend and feel sorry for your bottom, but deep down we are just hoping little Eddy grows up to be just as big one day... and returns to the crime scene! ;-)

"Tout est bien qui finit bien", however happily Dennis was not a (true) HUGE tiger

Maybe Dennis is very small, and his bed very, very, very, very small ? It was in the whashing machine at a too hot temperature ?
Who knows ? It is impossible to be sure after all...
