Dennis Grooms Eddy

Dennis gets a break as Eddy is very tired in this clip and doesn't start wrestling while Dennis tries to do his nurturing thing.
Dennis was going to post this later on, but he doesn't get much computer time. Dennis says eddy is like a squirmy cactus sometimes during grooming and things get rough. This time he was sleepy so he didn't really bite and whap.

Wow; that would never, ever happen here. Just lots of wrestling and pouncing.

Dennis has a loving side, he loves to groom the other cats when he's in a good mood.

Very nicely done, Dennis, specially on Eddy's white bits.
You are very talented and clever.

Minchie is very happy to have watched this video as Laila needs to watch it now so I can get down for some serious cleaning on her. She is just like Eddy, just wants to play and wrestle when I start. Kids!

The "squirmy cactus" analogy made me laugh out loud, even though this day has been filled with tears for me. I wanted to thank you for the kind words you left on my blog during this sad time.

Ahh,, Love it, I have a Tuxedo too..

So funny, smart cats..

Recently I ran out of fancy feast, and wow, he moped all day, and declined the other food I had for him. He refused to go outside, as if he had no energy, lying on the floor like he was on his last leg. Occasionally his tail slightly flipped, almost a sure sign he was not good for much longer..lol

I swear these cats are just amazing..
I really like your vid, I think I should get The Puddha a buddy..

I knew you were just a big softie at heart Dennis. You could tell that Eddy was really enjoying having the attention.

Gosh, Dennis, could you teach Elmo how to be so loving?

He's 13 and only just beginning to figure out it out. He never had a cat around to love him and lick him and cuddle him and sleep with him in his younger years, so when Bob came into his life and started head butting him and licking his ears, Elmo didn't know how to react so he'd swat at Bob or pounce on him.

But Elmo's slowly getting the hang of this whole love thing. When I'm not watching, he'll head butt Bob and lick the little dude's ears or let Bob get into his personal space. This really blisses Bob out. Bob loves nothing more than to be close to Elmo.

This did my heart good, Dennis, to see big bad you being so decent and kind and loving.

Our cousin Tucker is also a bit like a squirmy cactus. We call him Tucker Scizzorhands, with good reason! Dennis, you are a very thoughtful big brother!

There we go, Dennis. That should set the record straight. (Don't let the word get around too much though, this might ruin your reputation.)

As for Squirmy Cactus (cacti?) like Eddy, they're like their namesakes, the cactus pears - you need gloves and pliers to peel them but they're oh so sweet inside - if you like the taste of cactus pear, obviously. Myself, I prefer watermelon.

Here, have an anchovy.

Dennis, you are quite the nurturer and I'm wondering if it's in your nature... Or did someone nuture you??

Would you teleport over and give me a lick-bath? It's too much work for me to do it myself.

Poppy Q said...

It was nice of you to give your brother a bath. I was almost tempted to say Awwwwwwwwww how sweet!!

Dennis the Menace is very impressed here in Australia. A bit jealous I think when he doesn't have an eddy for company - just Mr and Mrs Wilson. You are so sweet Dennis!
