Dennis calls a family meeting. Dennis says this is how it's going to be. Dennis is in charge of quality time with Eddy, and Ched is in charge of quantity time with Eddy.

Dennis is in charge first. Dennis spends ten minutes bird watching with Eddy. Dennis says "Look Eddy! That bird is called a
Robin, maybe..."

Ched's turn lasts for ten hours. An exhausted (
but too wired to sleep) Ched can't believe energetic Eddy finally fell asleep.

Dennis explains he's been busy for ten hours testing new cat beds
for Eddy. Dennis wants to be sure the beds are perfect for Eddy. Dennis says it's just part of the job of being a responsible parent.

Family meeting! That is great!
dennis would love this other cat i sat and watched yesterday. all it did was sit on the roof and sleep...what a life
"i love Dennis but Ched is my very best friend--we play ALL day!"
~Eddy.
Quantity time always translates into Super Quality time. Even though it is a lot of hard work, you know you don't want to miss the fun moments of being with your new kitty.
Dennis should check Bitchlet's reply to his beetle leaf query.
Who do you think you're kidding, Dennis? Bed testing indeed....
Bed testing is a perfectly legitimate parental responsibility. You wouldn't want to place your child in an unsafe bed would you?
Laila and Minchie think Dennis and Ched are doing an excellent job of raising young Eddy!
dennis you are the dr. spock of felines!
Dennis: Ah. Traditional family values, I see. You're right: It's good to know who's who and what's what.
Teach your children well and all that. (I hope Ched does a decent job of keeping the youngster quiet while you nap. If there's one thing you must not tolerate, it's noisy little ones racing through while you're testing the bed.)
P.S. from Rollmops: test eyemasks and ear plugs, too. For the teenage years - they come a lot faster than you think.
Dennis...........Good Thinking! The Same Applies To Food!
Dennis, you're responsible indeed!
A very wise allocation of resources, Dennis! You are a good parent. I am very impressed.
Oh Dennis, you scamp!
Dennis, I fink you are slacking a bit. It dont take 10 hours to test bedz !!
I LOVE this family.
You're doing a great job with young Eddy! He is so lucky to have a bed tester!

Eddy has that look on his face in the first photo "A family what?".What a great trio.
The phrase "Dennis is in charge" has totally lost its credibility since hearing that Eddy was clinging to Dennis' head with all four paws. Just WHO'S in charge here, anyway??
Glad to see you have some rulez in your house. I too am a chief bed inspector.
Dennis!! I'm likin' the 'quality time' idea!!! That is what I do with my sisfurs Georgia & Tillie! Quality time. Good thing quality time can be very short!! Hahahahaha!!!!
Bed testing? I could do that ;)

The bed seems to be perfect for Eddy's body : just the right size to be hot against him, like his mother was. The white and red colors are well too. He will not need another one for Christmas time (hmmm, maybe Eddy will be too BIG to sleep in it then)
How are you Dennis ?
You seems so buzy with your new son-buddy.
pimple doesn't like chicken
What a handsome family! Between you & Ched, it appears you have all Edward's needs covered.
i'm wide awake.
i'm always busy! i like having things to do!!!
Quality or quantity! I love it! I wish that is how it worked for me!~~Junior
I never thought of testing the beds for the children... How stupid of me!
Remind me not to forget this brilliant excuse when I will have grand Children!!
great job Dennis! you are a good daddy to make sure you have quality time with Eddy and also quality control his bed. Poor Ched, she sounds like she is going to be very very tired.
In our family, assembling those little beds and other important equipment afforded Big Daddy hours upon hours of quality time with his tools. And I mean hours...
Dennis has his priorities sorted out:) xxx
Dennis and Ched are fine role models for the little ball of energy that is Eddy.
Testing beds for the new guy huh? That's not so bad a job!
pimple says he enjoyed keeping pod's feet warm all night long last night
Ah, now I see the connection, Dennis, Ched and Eddy. :) Yayyy...for the family meeting. You all looked beautiful.
