Eddy has achieved " Bond Villain " status in the life of Dennis. Dennis says waves of Blofeldian wickedness emanate from Eddy. 
Dennis was tired of that cat tower thing anyway. Dennis says the floor is better for stretching out on.

do you think that Eddy is what has pushed Dennis over the edge into this pattern of excessive grooming?
I know that Bob's excessive grooming is due to his inability to groom all of his, ahem, nether regions (yes, Bob is still 20 pounds despite all efforts to reduce his caloric intake and increase his exercise).
I'm really concerned about Dennis.
Do you think that Edward has really out-alpha'ed Dennis?
If so, geez, Dennis, my heart goes out to you. I know how important Elmo's alpha status is to him (and how utterly meaningless that alpha status is to Bob--Bob is one of those rare animals who's clueless about the whole alpha thing--he has no idea how inferior his position is to Elmo's in Elmo's alpha-dominant mind.)

Dennis admits... the over~grooming started before Eddy was born. It started with a small patch on one arm--the spot where Dennis was shaved by the vet.
What could he be thinking? Cats are so complex!
