Dennis is spending a lot of time bird watching, napping, and hanging out with the others.

Dennis went to the vet and the vet said Dennis is over-grooming himself and over-grooming the others due to either an obsessive compulsive disorder or anxiety. Otherwise Dennis is fine. Dennis thinks Dennis needs a more interesting environment! Dennis needs more toys and more routine interaction with humans. Dennis needs to be brushed and cuddled more before the over-grooming behavior starts. Dennis over-grooms now instead of getting angry and throwing a fit. Dennis over-grooms to calm himself down. Dennis is creating bald spots on his arms and legs and belly. Dennis has a New Year's resolution: to be all fluffy again.

Oh, Dennis, we are so sorry to hear that! This time of year is hard on all of us! We should all hibernate and not wake up until spring.
Take care little buddy!
(((hugs)))
Dennis, I hope you are all fluffy again SOON.
Oh, Dennis. Sometimes I get fanatic about cleaning too, usually the kitchen. You have the blues. Go howl some and feel better.
Dennis, I have been overgrooming, too! On account of that pesky Harley who is always chasing me around and making me nervous. I have a couple of bald spots on my sides and my belly is almost furless now! Oh, and I have mown down some of the furs on my front arms, too.
Dennis!!!! Dude!!!!!!! You gotta relax, man. WE need to find you a new hobby or something.Maybe you can try playing Wii.It might keep you occupied ;) Or,you can get a girlfriend...go with the Wii ;) heehee
Grow back your furs too ,K??

I'll have to send my son over there. He could really use some overgroomming tips. He could play Wii with you too.
Denny, I could help you with that, if we were closer. You could get the interaction-with-people thing from me, and you could direct some of your over-grooming energy upon my person, since I'm kinda the opposite.
But hey! At least you're not throwing fits! OK?
BTW: You still look great, in yer photos. ;-)
oh dennis.
try to relax!
Relaxez-vous, Monsieur Dennis! Over-grooming will give you hairballs.
I was too embarrassed to admit this, but Bob has been de-hairing himself since he reached his girth of 20 pounds. I won't get into the details of his neurotic behavior, but at one point, he'd removed all the hair from his front leg down to the paw, part of one back leg and there were several nude spots on his belly.
He seems to be on the mend now. I can't see his pink pink skin anymore.
Dennis, I'm very sorry to hear that you, the great and terrible and evil (and wonderful--because, heck Elmo's evil and terrible but also very loving and wonderful) Dennis has fallen into this OCD behavior.
Do snap out of it soon, friend.
Dennis - hope your fur grows back as good as new very soon.
Hang loose!
