Dennis has a Problem

Dennis (seen here screaming and warding off giant kitten)

At first it was just a small problem, so Dennis didn't bother to deal with it. Now the problem has grown and attacks Dennis (for fun) when Dennis doesn't feel like playing. The Problem's name is Eddy, and he is feisty !

Dennis,
Are you SURE you aren't just being a drama queen, trying to attract even more attention from Eddy? Cause that's what happens.

PS. Be sure to stop by our blog tomorrow, you're invited to Abby's 1st birthday party!

It would be unsettling if Eddy wasn't feisty. Dennis would find that more difficult to deal with than being the pounceee of Eddy.

Ummm, Eddy is a kitten, Dennis. Of course he is feisty!

You do me laugh Dennis ! At the same time you’re so cute.
You’re a true mother for Eddy, of course : you are so protective since you adopted him !
He must learn he is no more a milk drinking kitten though....

Oh my! Eddy got so big! You should rename him MiniMe as he looks just like a carbon copy of you, Dennis.

Dennis looks like a bundle of fun.

He looks as if he doesn't say everything that's going on in his head.

Trixie used to be like that too Dennis. When Eddy grows up a little bit he will calm down.

Oh Dennis, my brother Harley is ALWAYS jumping on me and chasing me all around, too. I do not enjoy it. I am going to try your screaming tactic and see if it works.

Eddy, thou hath grown!

Cats! Frank has been "away" and Bear has become the calmest, snuggliest, nicest cat. Soul is still a pain in the a** and just a downright curmudgeon. But Frank is due back in a few minutes, so we will see if the same antics apply as above.

Dennis, it appears Eddy is getting 'too big for his britches.'

Never fear, Dennis; you are not alone.

Elmo has the same problem.

Only, Elmo's problem is called Bob.

I think Elmo truly believed that if he just ignored Bob that Bob would disappear.

Hey, it could be worse, Dennis, my man. That kitten could outweigh you by 4 or 6 pounds.

Ask Elmo how it feels to get pinned to the ground by Moby Cat.

He'll tell you:

It ain't fun.

The problem with Dennis is when the other cats leave the house -- he cries inconsolably --all night long while searching the house for them. This we know from the one and only separation of the group --he never stopped crying . He wept in his sleep even. Dennis isn't cut out to be an only cat.

So in other words, Dennis is just a big old marshmallow, huh?

I never would've pegged him for a softy.

Go figure.

(Elmo does NOT cry inconsolably when Bob disappears--goes to the vet. In fact, whenever Bob isn't around (sleeping in the closet or outside, or wherever), Elmo perks up and acts like he's the king of the world. His life goal has been to my one and only cat. His life goal has been to be the one and only cat in the whole flipping world.)

Edward, Dennis, Bobby, say a prayer for me. I'm going to attempt a 2 cat vet visit on Monday morning. I've never done this before.I've never HAD to attempt this before. But, alas, both Bob and Elmo have ear mites and the OTC mite drops aren't working. The vet says an RX is required--plus an examination. Seriously, send some good vibes my way. Getting one cat in a carrier for a vet visit is tricky. Two will be....interesting, to say the least.
